There are multiple inherited diseases that each purebred dog (and every
living creature, including humans, for that matter), is pre-disposed to.   Miniature Schnauzers are no different.   

If you are looking to buy a Miniature Schnauzers, ask that the puppy has:

• vaccines and de wormingup to date.
• CERF eye exam within the last year 
• the puppy's parents have CERF exams yearly
  
• a written health warranty covering inherited health defects for a
  minimum of 6 years. Understand whether the warranty requires you
  to return your pet to the breeder to take advantage of any
  reimbursement or replacement.
